Wow a car chase in my neighborhood!

Guess what happened last night in my sleepy neighborhood….We had a car chase where the suspect’s car landed in my 5 foot ditch…at approx.~ 11:50am I heard the dogs sound weird.. My hubby was almost home at the time, which after seeing the car, I asked hubby where he was, thankfully he was still driving and was 15 minutes away…

Well about 3-7 miles down the road a car was clocked 16 over the speed limit, and when the state trooper put on his lights, the car started speeding away, miles over 100 at a time… and the dumbass driver turned down our main subdivision road and swerved into a couple of ditches and then went thru another’s driveway, flew around some trees in my neighbor’s back yard, hit their smaller ditch, went airborne into my 5 ft ditch…and the trooper tried to stop but slid into the first ditch… and what my neighbor’s thought was gun fire was the creaking of the doors as they got out of their vehicles…the state trooper had to kick his door to get out but they did not get the suspects right away…I hope to hear they got them soon… But they ran right past my door and kids rooms to the woods… I only saw the second officer on scene… I didn’t realize something happened until I realized the siren was not on my TV.. I was watching a show that did have some sirens on it… I ran to look thru and saw blue lights flashing in my kitchen window… and it freaked me out as hubby wasn’t home and I thought it was his car…Thank god it wasn’t…

So I got a wakeup about the nice 5 foot ditches, They can stop the car chase, but went to foot race, but at least they couldn’t go hurting anyone with the car… The dumbass suspects, left their cell phone(s) in the car and the cops had several leads just on that alone, and the car…

My ditch is just fine, just no grass there, nothing to worry me about… But I know the neighbor’s that really care about me and my safety though…The car with the lights on is the suspect car, the behind the open driver’s door is the cop car stuck in my neighbor’s ditch.. this was taken out of my garage…

Welcome Spring!

It is finally starting to look like spring. The grass is growing, things are turning green and well the trees have leaves now.

Working on the nascar squares and getting some new ones done as well.

Off to enjoy some peaceful knitting and crochet before the kids get home from school.

Pic was taken from this site, thanks, Jim

Would you be a cool parent?

You Will Be a Cool Parent

You seem to naturally know a lot about parenting, and you know what kids need.
You can tell when it's time to let kids off the hook, and when it's time to lay down the law.
While your parenting is modern and hip, it's not over the top.
You know that there's nothing cool about a parent who acts like a teenager... or a drill sergeant!

What planet are you from?

You Are From Neptune

You are dreamy and mystical, with a natural psychic ability.
You love music, poetry, dance, and (most of all) the open sea.
Your soul is filled with possibilities, and your heart overflows with compassion.
You can be in a room full of friendly people and feel all alone.
If you don't get carried away with one idea, your spiritual nature will see you through anything.

What kind of intelligence do you have?

Your Dominant Intelligence is Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence

You are naturally athletic and coordinated, good at making your mind and body work together.
Sports are fun and easy for you, especially those requiring good hand - eye coordination.
There's also a good chance you're a great dancer, or good at expressing yourself through body language.
You learn best by doing, and you feel like you've always got to be moving (even if it's just your hands).

You would make a good athlete, physical education teaches, dancer, actor, firefighter, or artisan.

What kind of writer should you be?

You Should Be a Song Writer

You have the ability to evoke emotion, tell a story, and hook someone...
In a very small amount of words, perhaps with some deft rhyming.
Even if you can't write music, you can sure write compelling lyrics.
Lyrics so good, people will have them stuck in their heads!

My first Tribble

Hi I finally have mastered it a bit to do some other knitting besides hats and dishcloths, I love them but want to try new things in knitting... I still crochet and am working on an afghan for a friend's lil girl in the pink camo, it is turning out nicely...

I am working on the nascar dishcloths and have done some more of them... I have the #00, #19 and a few others done now... will be getting them done for a bit...

NASCAR season is just around the corner... There is so many what ifs, Does everyone get thru the inspection line free and clear for Daytona this yr? Will Jimmie Johnson get the three peat and if he will get it with out his CC Knaus getting suspended...I don't think JJ can get it done without Chad cheating and getting suspended, that is just my opinion...

Well here is the picture of the tribble and hope to get some more pictures on here... Hunter and I hope that we are going to the Richmond cup race in May...He can't wait and is sooo excited about it... Maybe he will finally meet Tony Stewart....

Waffle hat

I just did this waffle hat

It was fun and I used pink camo on it....Working on some more pictures of the work I have been doing around the house to stay busy.... We have been having a nice and hot fall soccer season which is great for the weather but not great on the kids...I think Hunter has found the position he loves the best... Either Midfielder or Center Midfielder also known as sweeper... He loves being a midfielder...

well off to get my around the rosy baby blanket done again... Finally decided to work it up again and will give the gauge and skein usage updates for the pattern....
