Well now I have to remember to write 2006 on the bills...lol.. We stayed up to watch the ball drop and headed to bed... I can't believe it is already january. well off to finish some items in crochet and relax for a bit..

Ella

Ella is a quiet one but she is in heat. She has been rolling all around the floor and does a quiet purr sound not like most cats in estrous, really loud... She goes for her appt on the 3rd to get fixed. She is a pound kitty and was hoping to get her before her first heat but didn't get there...

Well off to finish a baby set, blanket, hat and booties and sweater for a friend's first baby. It is lavendar and white set and will take a picture when it gets all done.

Just 51 days till NASCAR is back in our viewing pleasure...

Off for now to get some work done...

Just saying hello

Ahhh almost christmas time here. I really don't like it that much lately, couldn't really get into the spirit this yr. It is the 5 yr anniversary that my mom passed on christmas eve, and last yr my grandma on my dad's side passed in december as well. Hubby even said we might have another puppy added to the mix. Not real happy but if it keeps him happy...I won't get another kitten though, too many pets to mess with my yarn. Ella is learning somewhat but it comes with time and getting her to play with what I make her not what I was working on at the time. I have my work displayed at a local consignment shop and it is doing well, at least it is spending money. I finally made a martha poncho in purple for dh's dog friend and she loved it, just forgot to get a picture, maybe when hubby goes back to charlottesville, I will ask him to take a picture of it.

NASCAR will be on in 58 days...yippeee, Soon I will have something to listen to while I crochet away. BTW all you crocheters out there, if you bring your work and work on it, people will watch and I get orders that way, I just got done doing 2 beanie hats, and now that same lady has me making a hat with flaps and a lapghan in red, white and blue for a retirement of a military member.

I like that the orders have kept me busy so I don't have to think about the time and the days that are coming. I normally have been on meds starting in oct but it creeped up and now I have to deal with all the issues I have and not take it out on everyone around me.

So I am going to try and keep up with the blog and hopefully still have sanity if we add another puppy to the mix. Hope to get some pictures of the ##()I)Y#*(^*(@^ animals..lol... I do love them, just they do things to aggrivate me and push the buttons...

School will be back in session jan 2nd too so that is something to look forward to as well...

I added 2 rows of dc at the beg edge after the fact and row 14 I added 15 chs before I attached to other side so that it would fit my almost 6 pound kitty...

Here is the new scarf design I have made for a special order. I hope to write more but with the holidays and orders for my designs on an up, I have little time to be on here but hope to add new pics as things get done. You can make the items to sell at craft fairs, bazaars, and local areas, but you may not sell the patterns themselves ever and never can sell online at any craft or ebay like situation. To sell online would have to have written consent by me and my company or we will sue to the extent of the law.

I don't mind if you put a link to my site on websites but to let me know so that I can reciprocate the deal for you.

I have and will update as need be on the copyright but don't take someone's hard work and claim it as your own. There are a lot of hard working designers out there and you don't want to bite the hand that feeds your need for patterns. I don't get paid for my patterns and if I wanted to I would myself sell and not have someone else get my rightful profits.

Two hats I have done

Here are two hats I have done. I just got the heads at Sally beauty supply to show them off as Hunter hates having to model work I have been doing... But one is a purple varigated and the other is grey with a large black stripe.

They are sleeping the day away...Well Cara just got done running like her butt was on fire, kees are notorious for that... pattern will come later but it was a pattern I designed based off of Angel Crafts round ripple. I was making so many for friends and family that I wanted some bumps and design to mine.

Hope you like it and hope to get it written to the puter soon, just on paper right now. My design pages are going over bandwidth to where I have been getting ready for some mirror sites and etc to reduce the bandwith on the over loaded one.

well off to work on some more designs and get some more craft fair stuff done.

my 4L kiddos

Buddy is in the top picture, the patriarch, the the middle is Ella, the baby, and the matriarch, Ragamuffin "kitty"(she is the big one), and the bottom has the puppy Cara nosing into one of my yarn bags that the kitten has fallen asleep in. Didn't realize it was blurry, and Ella has found some wierd places to sleep of late too, maybe one of these days I will get a new picture of her.

Cara the puppy has destroyed 3 kitty toys in an hour tonight. Guess I will have to buy some more or get cracking and make some more before she shreds them all...lol... I can't wait till she learns that she is to play with only her toys, hope it will be real soon. As I have been working on crochet and designing, and getting ready for a show in November I have been busy...

I hope to get a picture if the weather is great tomorrow of some of the things I have finished over the past week, I have made about 7-8 hats, baby blanket, booties, shrug from caneylane creations.(shelly shrug), and a few more things.

Well off to watch Nascar qualifying and hope my driver gets a good spot. Go #38...

my kitty

We got her a few weeks ago and she had a head cold, I have given her the name Ella, for a Nascar driver we like, she has already gotten double her weight and size.. She is a sweety.

Well I am going to see how this looks as I am using a different way of getting the pictures to the blog and seeing if I like them this way.

Slowly getting back to normal

Hi, I know I haven't posted in a while, we have 2 new 4L kiddos here and getting them into the swing of how it works, well that will take a while. We got a new kitten during the adoption time at petsmart, and we just got the daughter of our dog too. so it is chaos here. Literally and figuratively, in all sense of the word.

My 6 yo has a girl friend, she gave him her number, and he had to learn how to call her. It was funny, but he scowls at the word that she is his girlfriend. hehhe..

I belong to some crochet groups and well sometimes you have to draw a deaf ear to some of the posts, especially if you really don't care one way or the other on the given subject. Lately it has been about the different yarns, who cares, I use what I can afford and that isn't saying much. I would love to make some of the items in the magazines but balk at paying 6.00 a ball and having to have anywhere from 10 to 15 balls to make one item. I just can't justify 60.00 to my dh to do that, so that will stay in the back burner unless my design business takes off but it is few and far between that things get bought. I just sold a scarf for 10 for the neighbor and have a craft fair to do in November which I have a partner in it so it saves on the cost of the booth.

Well gotta go get some dinner and check on the animals as they are a bit on the quiet side and have to see if they are tearing up the house while I have been writing this long passage of air..lol...
